First Jane, Now Goldie

Who needs Hollywood? The superstars are flocking to the Emerald City. Jane Fonda was just at Seattle Costco hawking her autiobiography, and now Goldie Hawn showing a touch more class, is coming to Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park on Saturday, May 14, at 6 pm.

Her autobiography even has a better title than Jane’s My Life So Far. Goldie: A Lotus Grows In the Mud reveals Goldie’s "joy of being a daughter, a sister, a lover, and a parent" (blecch) and covers her career from graffiti-covered go-go girl on Laugh-In to her roles in movies such as Private Benjamin, Foul Play, The First Wives Club, Cactus Flower, The Banger Sisters, and Shampoo, Although Third Place Books is stressing that this is a "Signing Only (and you need to contact them for tickets), we think that, with the right coaxing, the bubbly Goldie could be coerced into saying, "Sock it to me, baby."
