It's actually the Washington State Liquor Control Board building in South Seattle. And yeah, it's been established that Grey's Anatomy geography is solely for the insane.

Since this is shot (at least partly) in Seattle, can anyone identify the building they are using for the hospital? It sure ain't across the street from the Pikes Place Market, despite the market sign seen through a window on an early episode.
