Glad I wasn't the only one who thought that "ferry boats" sounded a little fishy. I imagine they had to call them that so that people unfamiliar with costal living would know what they were talking about. It seemed especially out-of-character for a New Yorker ("Manhattanite" Tate Donovan), since I assume he would call it the Staten Island Ferry and not the Staten Island Ferry Boat. Perhaps the writers feared that non-costal audiences would interpret "Seattle has ferries" as an entirely different statement unrelated to watercraft.

The IV was kind of disturbing but the patient arriving with a severed member in her mouth topped it for me. I did enjoy Dempsey's little tough guy routine at the end, though. "We gave your penis to the cops. have a nice life, bitch"
