Degenerate Art Orchestra @ The Moore

degenerate.jpgTruthfully, we don't know that much about this event, but judging by the people involved and the press that's already out there we think it's going to be worth your Saturday night. The Degenerate Art Emsemble is a 45 piece orchestra composed of "adventurous classical and improvising musicians."

Satuday's show at The Moore Theater will showcase 10 new orchastral works including four multi-media displays encompassing music, dance, film and theatre.

Some of the names attached to this performance are Seattle School, Haruko Nishimura, Eyvind Kang, Joshua Kohl and members of The Dead Science.

Here is an mp3 file from their website.

From The Stranger:

…their art is a violently beautiful, passionate world where things don't have a 'nice day', but are either dying or coming to life, screaming or absolutely silent.
