Crazy-Ass Wind

Hold on to your hats! Whitecaps on the Sound, petals getting blown off the cherry blossoms, and Seattlest just saw a tarp blow by our sixth-floor window--it's windy out there today.

Seattle is currently enjoying 32-mile-an-hour gusts, and we have a Small Craft Advisory on the Sound--predicting waves up to five feet! Whee! We think "small craft" includes our car, which wobbled all over Elliott Ave this morning.

We're still nowhere near Seattle's wind record--64 mph at SeaTac in 1993.
