Seattlest Seeks Fresh Meat

We hope you've been enjoying everything that Seattlest has been serving up lately, and if you're not reading every post, well, we're trying to throw in a little something for everyone so hopefully you come across something interesting every now and then. If there's something we've done that you particularly liked we'd love to hear about it, but we're even more interested in the stories we're missing. If there's an event that you think we should be writing about, but we've been silent on, let us know. If there's a subject that we've completely ignored it could be that we're dismissing it as lame and unworthy of precious post space, but it's more likely that we're lame and we just don't know about it. Let us know.

As our readership grows (and damn does it grow) so too will our list of contributors. We've added a few people recently that you'll hopefully know and love soon, but we're still keeping an eye out for new talent:

• Team Seattlest is currently on the hunt for outdoors athletes or participants in what we like to refer to as "REI sports." If you're an active cross-country skier, mountain biker, climber, kayaker, mountaineer, or hiker, we'd like to talk to you about writing under the Seattlest flag. We'll love you all the more if you write and take pictures.

• We're also searching for literary-minded souls to help us keep an eye on Seattle's publishing community and books events. If you go to readings, attend events at Hugo House and have an opinion on The Believer you should write in and get to know us.

• Finally, if you think you're just too sexy for wherever you're currently publishing your musings it might be worth a shot to contact Seattlest and strike up a conversation. Seattlest loves random people!
