Do you like a bargain? If so, tomorrow afternoon, you should head over to the Capitol Hill Arts Center to check out the Beep Repaired (Get it? Hah!) Records benefit. For only 10 bucks, you get to see 20 bands. If it wasn't Friday afternoon, we could tell you how much that is per band, but frankly all we can think about is leaving work, so you'll have to do the math yourself. We don't know all of the bands that are playing, but the ones that we have heard we like a lot since they play their indie pop fun and quirky. The show starts at 2pm and heads until late in the night. Plus, it's for a good cause, though we can't really remember what the good cause is.
If value isn't your thing, you might want to head over to Vera and see Fugazi's Ian MacKaye's new band, the Evens. There are few people in this world who make us weak in the knees, but Ian MacKaye is one of them. Personally, we have seen Fugazi play 12 times and every time was (if you are using a text reader, please turn down the volume) AWESOME! While he most likely won't be playing any Fugazi or Minor Threat songs, you can be assured that he only comes up with good music. He is so consistent that there should be an Ian MacKaye seal of approval on music. Okay, we'll stop now.

Tuesdays are Muppet Days
