Get Outside

It may not be as warm as it looks, but with sunny weather like this, who cares about whether it's snowing in the mountains (it isn't)...or even about global warming. It's beautiful outside and Seattlest is all for appreciating the moment. Here are a few ideas to help you move away from your computer screen:

Go to a Park
Who wouldn't want to be near the water on a day like today? It took us a criminal amount of time before we finally visited Golden Gardens Park after a friend recommended it, but now that we've been, it's hard not to go every day.

Get Out of Town (and go to a park)
Think outside the Elliott Bay box and head south for an adventure on the South Puget Sound. We got a wild hair yesterday and drove down to Point Defiance Park in Tacoma and highly recommend it. Check out their zoo while you're there.

Not In the Mood to Get in the Car?
Treat yourself to a new grill, put on a sweater, and have the first BBQ of the season. Sure, it's a little early, but why not?
