UW Prof's Tsunami Account
From Seattle blogger and UW staff member Harry Love we find a link to the harrowing account of a UW Professor caught with his family in Thailand during the devastating December 26th tsunami.
From the online version of The UW faculty and staff newspaper University Week:
Dr. Mark Oberle, associate dean in public health, had planned on spending part of his Christmas holiday snorkeling with his family in Thailand. Instead, he assisted in the rescue and treatment of victims of the tsunami that struck the region on Dec. 26.
Dr. Oberle's first hand account including pictures and links are on his website.
