And The Award For 'Least Pronouncable Local Film Festival Acronym' Goes To...

SIUEFF!

siueff.jpgThe Seattle International Underground Experimental Film Festival kicks off tonight with work from Brent Watanabe and Stefan Gruber. Watanabe's website Creepco.com is a masterpiece of 8-bit style graphics mayhem and we're very excited to find out what he's showing tonight. The hand-drawn animations at Gruber's site are also promising.

Saturday night SIUEFF strongly encourages you to participate by offering free admission to anyone bringing 10 minutes or less of home video footage in VHS or DVD format. Seattlest is sure they're open to America's Funniest Home Videos-style loops of your kid hitting you in the nuts as well as your more risque One Night In Paris escapades.

Here's a map to Priceless Works in Fremont at 619 N 35th Street (in the alley behind Fremont PCC). The event is tonight, tomorrow, and next weekend at 8pm.
