Snow!
Dark, dark days for skiers and snowboarders in the Pacific Northwest, especially in Seattle. Everything nearby is closed or sucking and the hardcore are fleeing to the Rockies at every opportunity. People are supposed to come HERE to ski...
Some relief is in sight. Twenty-two inches of the white stuff fell on Stevens Pass since the weekend and that should be enough to allow them to open Thursday.
Pull out the boards, we are back in the white!! We will open this Thursday, February 17th, 9am to 4pm, conditions permitting. SkyLine, Hogsback, Brooks and Daisy chairlifts will operate. Granite Peaks - Cascadian Kitchen, Bull's Tooth Pub & Eatery & T-Bar Market will be open. In the Pacific Crest the Iron Goat Pizzeria will be open. In Tye Creek Lodge, the Tye Creek Deli will be open. The Rossignol Tech Center for rental equipment will be open and ready. See you up here!
Snoqualmie is still inactive as is Crystal.
