Hot for Teacher

It gives us the willies to post on this topic at all, but the rise of web-based wedding registries allows for a new sort of voyeurism in addition to simple one-stop shopping.

We know the story of Mary Letourneau and Vili Fualaau, including the fun fact that the two will marry on April 16, now that she is out of jail and he is of legal age. And now we know that they'll be unwrapping gifts from their wedding registry at Bon Macy's, including china in a peppy citrus-colored pattern and the Kate Spade big-and-little (teacher-and-student?) glasses shown above.

Seattlest admits to being slightly queasy at the possibility that we could purchase something for the happy couple--and relieved, on our own behalf, to see that as with most wedding registries the cheap stuff has been all snapped up, leaving the fancy-pants pots and pans to the latecomers.
