Coachella Lineup Announced

The Gang of Four reunion rumors were true: they'll play the second day of 2005's Coachella Festival in Indio, California.
The rest of the lineup reads like John in the Morning's very special dream. Bright Eyes (a repeat from last year), Coldplay, Bauhaus, Weezer, Wilco, Keane, Snow Patrol, Rilo Kiley, Mercury Rev, New Order, Kasabian, Fiery Furnaces, British Sea Power.
We'd be psyched to see most of the above, as well as Arcade Fire and the Futureheads.
Seattlest attended last year and gives the shindig a cautious thumbs-up: prep for high temperatures, blisters, dehydration, sunburn, and the chance to see about 100 bands. You can also prep for friendly people and well-priced, oddly decent food (we loved the asparagus vendor last year). Camping is a temptingly cheap option but keep in mind that you'll literally have no escape from the 110+ degree temperatures--there's no sleeping in when your tent heats up by 7 am. Or so we learned last year.
Tickets go on sale February 5 at noon; expect a sellout.
