ConWorks Conflagration

We want to love ConWorks. We love their themed multimediafests. We think the little weed coming through the crack in the floor in the recent Altoids show was borderline genius. We love their 14/48 series of insane instant theater, even though we might prefer the original, NYC version.

The Stranger has (as usual) done a good job of reporting the squabbling, quitting, bad-vibes hoohahs of late. ConWorks starts off the year short three core people, and not in a pleasant, "artistic differences" kind of way. We're talking bridges burnt beyond recognition.

Ironic or not, the theme of the next series is vs. You can attend the opening night gala on February 18 for a mere seven bucks, free if you're a member. Here's hoping ConWorks gets her groove back.
