Reunited and It Feels So Good

The rock reunion revival, fronted last summer by the Pixies and followed up by Mission of Burma last fall, is continuing in 2005 with news of both Slint and Gang of Four reunion tours.

A visit to the Showbox box office on Monday to snag an additional ticket to the Slint reunion show March 12 yielded the following information from the box-office dude: hardly any tickets left. Not a surprise, since to date the band is only scheduled to play eight shows in five U.S. cities. Get thee to TicketsWest or the Showbox box office or prepare to pay the Craigslist premium.

The New York Times has reported that Gang of Four, currently reunited and playing shows in the UK, will follow up with a Coachella appearance and a U.S. tour. Coachella has yet to announce their line-up, but Seattlest will stay on top of this developing story.
